For years "Mommie" Helen Williams blessed her family and her community with her baking secrets she brought with her to California from Texarkana, Texas. This baking tradition is carried on in Helen’s daughter Dorothy Pryor Rose who felt a calling to serve her community through a neighborhood bakery, using her mother’s 60-year-old secret family recipes…and Mommie Helen’s Bakery was born.
